Ownership, without the fog
A Shirt Bazaar claim is a one-time purchase of one exact artwork. When payment settles, that design leaves the claimable market, the commercial rights held by Shirt Bazaar are assigned to the claimant, and the design appears on the claimant's storefront. The physical shirt is separate.
The transaction
Browse the Bazaar and open a design that is still available. The listing shows the claim price, artwork, garment mockup and maker credit.
Sign in and pay the listed claim price. Settlement is the point at which the rights assignment takes effect.
The claim is written with a database lock, so two people cannot acquire the same design. Once claimed, it cannot be claimed again or reissued as a second edition.
The claimant receives the commercial rights Shirt Bazaar holds in that exact artwork, subject to the Terms and the limits of applicable AI-authorship law.
The claimed design appears on the claimant's public handle page. Printing a physical shirt remains a separate, optional print-on-demand transaction.
What transfers
The Terms are the binding source. In practical language, they let the claimant exploit the exact design commercially while Shirt Bazaar keeps only the display rights needed to host and market the service.
| Part of the claim | What it means |
|---|---|
| The exact artwork | Exclusive commercial rights held by Shirt Bazaar are assigned on settlement. |
| Merchandising | You may sell apparel, prints or other products carrying the design. |
| Outside production | You may work with another printer or manufacturer, subject to the Terms. |
| Licensing and transfer | You may license the artwork or sell the assigned rights to someone else. |
| Bazaar storefront | The design appears at your public handle; tee sales can be enabled separately. |
The claim concerns the artwork and assigned rights. If you want a tee, that product is printed on demand after a separate order. Production, sizing, delivery and defect policies apply to that order.
Exclusivity applies to the exact artwork. It cannot prevent another artist or model from making a different wolf graphic, retro poster or work inspired by the same general concept.
Copyright treatment depends on jurisdiction and human authorship. The assignment transfers every right Shirt Bazaar holds; it is not a promise that a government office will register wholly machine-generated output.
Credit records who generated the design. It does not leave the maker with commercial control after a claim. A one-time maker royalty is recorded, although royalty payouts are not live yet.
Before you claim
No. A claim is the permanent acquisition of one exact artwork and the commercial rights Shirt Bazaar can assign in it. A printed shirt is a separate made-to-order product.
No. A settled claim locks that design to one claimant. Shirt Bazaar does not offer a second claim, second edition or identical reissue of that artwork.
Yes. The Terms allow the claimant to sell merchandise, manufacture through another printer, license the artwork, or transfer the rights. Shirt Bazaar keeps a limited display license so it can operate the marketplace and storefront.
No. A claim covers the exact artwork, not an idea, subject, prompt or visual style. Someone can independently create a different work around the same concept.
A completed claim is intended to be permanent. Payment failures, fraud, legal takedowns and the binding Terms can affect a transaction, so review the Terms before buying.
That depends on the country and the human contribution to the work. In the United States, copyright registration generally requires human authorship. Shirt Bazaar assigns everything it holds, but it cannot create legal protection that applicable law does not recognize.
This page explains the product in ordinary language. The listing states the price and status of a specific design; the Terms control the legal assignment. If those sources conflict, the Terms win.
